Because each knob and pin is individually machined, there are none of the mold lines or distortion common to cheap plastic parts. They work perfectly and are the finest you can buy. - The Dark Tortoise Waverly Anniversary Collection includes:Tuning Machines with Dark Tortoise knobs: The choice of renowned guitarmakers for their finest instruments. Waverlys feature old-style tapered 1/4 inch-diameter string posts and press-fit brass hex bushings that fit 11/32 inch-diameter pegholes. Stainless steel worm gears with 16:1 gear ratio. - Dark Tortoise Endpin: Precision-machined to a 5-degree taper. - Dark Tortoise Strap Button: A beautiful addition to your neck heel, ours have a unique countersunk brass bushing to protect the button against overtightening. Button diameter is 17/32 inch (13.28mm), and button height is 7/16 inch (11.11mm).
